Similar here. Except to be more precise it was more like my wife said to me "what the feck did you do this to me for?". I tried to point out how much effort we fellas put into the process but she was having none of it.

Fun related story- when my wife told my sister that we were going to have a second child, my sister just looked at her and said, dead seriously, "Are you and Chris going to get divorced?"
Let's just say my view on fatherhood has been… mixed.
