        I'll join in.

On the basis that he did systematically cheat, then deny that he did it and worse, tried to destroy those who accused him of so doing, I think he should in turn be destroyed and never allowed to participate in anything ever again.

I'm usually pretty tolerant of peoples foibles and weaknesses, but in my opinion, this was both cynical and pursued in the belief he was bigger than the authorities and the sport, for that he will get no forgiveness from me.

Also, I do not like people who break other peoples dreams.  I am not so stupid as to think that cycling is/was "clean" but it was trying to clean up its act and I truly believed that Armstong heralded a new age of drug free, remarkable riders.

And I don't give a shit that he recovered fron cancer - I'm not sure I even believe he had it.

people have very short memories, will be interesting to see where he is in a few weeks, months, years.

not a fan of what he is accused of doing (& the way it seems he used his influence to destroy anyone that told the truth about him), but the live strong foundation (as far as i can tell) has raised awareness & funds in cancer research.  i think he should be punished for what he did, but the mitigating circumstances (the live strong foundation) should also be looked at since it is a part of his over all legacy.

will be watching to see how this develops cause truth be told he should be responsible civilly as well as criminally on a lot of this stuff.

nah, it seems there were alot of allegations against him for years & he always denied & went after the people that made or supported them.

I think it's good that he's coming out and admitting it. Put closure on the whole thing and people can move on. He's beyond the point the redemption, etc., but at least everyone can stop talking about it.

Let's not forget that he wasn't the only rider using drugs; I don't agree with what he's done, nor how he behaved, but if the sport had been cleaner, would he still have chosen that path?

                    Yeah, he would have.

Professional sport is extremely tight at the top and athletes, if they want to be the best, will do whatever it takes to get an edge. Sports aren't drug free, they're just (more) free of banned substances.

I for myself was participating in 3 olympics , made a fifth place and made a medal in worlds!…and yes there were rumours that some of my opponents were using drugs. But in my expierences most of them were clean.

I was never taking drugs and always have believed in a fair competition. Otherwise i would have been a fraudster!

You shouln't put all sportsman under general suspicion but those who were caught cheating should be punished hardly!!!!!

                      Just my two cents!

How he behaved and handled things is unforgivable. I'm ok with Zabel, Ullrich and a lot of the others - doping in professional cycling was undeniable for the longest time.

I hope he gets taken to court by his sponsors...

hectic, on OSX, in iMovie, import your click, then either through Clip menu (@ top), select Fast Forward, which enables up to 10x speed increase. (10x * 10x = 100x speed up if you need to go really fast).

Haraki-San definitely did not come up with the idea.  Dyeing fibers has been around for more than 5000 years, so who really knows when the practice of dyeing something twice first occurred
