I have a FH Type II jacket I wear on and off, but I'm getting nominal fades on it

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

I am posting this here on behalf of J Cosmo ASP:

These are about one year old.  I've worn them 4 days a week since sometime in late October, and washed them in cold water, inside-out on a short cycle each week, air-drying thereafter.  That usually takes three days, thus the 4 day schedule.  I wear pair #1 of the TWHR01s the other three.  They fit perfectly and make me happy everyday I have them on.  Thank you, Haraki San!

If you think you can or can't do something, you're right.

With a once a week wash, not sure that Cosmo is in pursuit on combs:

Nice to see Cosmo back on the forum.

Here's some terrible pictures of my overdyed SEXIH07's complete with weird washer pattern-ing. washed probably 3 or 4 times?

Isaak, did you turn them inside out before throwing them in the washer? What temp did you use? How long? Do you like how they have turned out? I cannot say I am a fan. In fact, I have to know what you did to these so I can avoid it myself! I don't mean to sound rude but when I think of Overdyed jeans fading evo, this is not what I think of. Thanks for any and all info!

PS - The pictures are fine!

Yeah… turned inside out, cold water with Woolite dark- regular wash cycle- hanged to dry. Can't remember how long I wore them before i washed them.

I don't like them( on a number of fronts), and will probably redye them eventually- with a permanent black. They seem to be evening out a bit though- a distribution of errors so to speak. They look really washed out it the pictures. They're still weird looking, but more black and blue in person.

Anyways- there's a warning for the washing machine aficionados contemplating overdyed stuff.

Thanks Issak. Sorry you are unhappy with your pair. I'm sure dying them gain will help. Cheers

I don't mean to sound doom and gloom about them. I'm gonna let them go for awhile longer and see what happens. My theory is they might end up looking like some weird 80's crazy-washed jeans- which I think would be kind of funny.

Simon- no real wrinkles to speak of to start off with. I don't remember them being really crisp or starchy feeling compared to other IH stuff.
I suspect it has to do with a rough spin cycle- which might explain it's initial lopsidedness. At first it was only on the back of one side; it's getting more even looking.
