Viberg

I'm actually most tempted by a pair of Hikers right now, particularly in a build along the lines of what Viberg did for Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop, which have a square toe and Portland sole.
These look nice too, but I'm not convinced by the ripple sole on a walking boot.

They're old-fashioned walking boots with the uppers sewn from a single piece of leather. I suspect that they'll be reasonably waterproof, but I wouldn't want to go wading around in rivers in them.
I have unchristian thoughts about something like the Chuc build in the heavy Horween waxed leather.

It's the only thing that's right.

I want the four horsemen and the Nick Horween boondocker. I am in love with both…may just have to get one after the other...as soon as I get my navy latigo service boot with the brick red danite soles.

I get all worked up just thinking about sliding my size 12 feet into a pair of these. I just need to relax my anxious and impulsive personality so I can prevent myself from settling for a pair of boots I can receive in a few days or so.
Question….what would u call the type of toe on these boots? I like this style of service boot but in a rough out leather. I have been toying with the build a boot option on vibergs site but only see the toe like G's service boot.

dd it says it in the description my man
Viberg style 1950 with deconstructed toe. The upper is made from dark brown calf skin which means the boot will ages beautifully. Also features a hardwearing black Dainite sole.youd just specify that in the notes box when you go threw the boot builder

G, that Merlot looks so good. You and Chris are really setting it off. Love the colors.
