IHSH-08 16oz Super Black Western Shirt

Really enjoying this shirt. I like the "clothing as armour" concept, in addition to providing normal garment function I am enjoying the protective carapace quality that it offers. I am reminded of the Isaye Miyake dresses of the previous decade that imposed a particular shape on the wearer. Actually thinking about it in general the IH design ethos fits well with a world in economic crisis: there is a lot to said for dressing yourself in something completely dependable and enduring when there is so much uncertainty elsewhere.

So I was discussing some sizing stuff with Dchill in regards to the IHSH-08 and wanted to share something I told him. When sizing, remember that this shirt because of it's weight, is very stiff. Once the creases are set in the arm you will loose some length in the sleeves. I say this because if you are worried about the sleeve length measurement being too long, take this into consideration. Cheers and more fit flicks from everyone else who owns one!
