Obviously no one knows for sure until these have been tested outdoors, but would it be right to presume that this is likely to be a mid-warmth piece, not as warm as say something like an IHJ-08, but warmer than a shell or typical raincoat because of the ventile lining?

The satin cotton outer is fairly hefty.

I've just weighed an XL and it's an impressively hunky 3.7lbs

Hood is not Ventile (like the sample I saw in May), but a lightweight rip-stop nylon….

That's way more practical and less bulky. I personally would opt for this hood over a ventile hood any day.

Is it me, or is the shoulder measurements looking small? I'm a size S in the Type III's and they fit well, although a little snug in the shoulder area. Sizing up doesn't seem like a good plan on these though.. Thoughts?

L feels good on me which is my normal size, remember these have actions pleats, if I extend the pleat, I get another 1 - 1.5" in the shoulder
