50 $ gets ya:
- deadstock Japanese flannel houndstooth fabric, rich shade of poiple
- corozo nut buttons, which go crazy well with the colour
- triple chàinstitched construction
- nice packaging (hey, it counts!), and quick arrival: from Indonesia to Belgium in exactly 7 days!
It's sold out though, but keep an eye out on the future releases by Oldblue & co… I sure as fuck will!..
Now onto the review...
So soft... I've handled the IHSH-22 and the IHSH-20... This is softer... It feels like flannel on the outside, and is a bit more brushed/ less hairy/ less soft on the inside... Hopefully my macro-shots give you an idea of what I mean... Anyhow: this has a downright luxuriously soft feeling to it...
Weight is medium: definitely good for spring/ autumn… Hell: will work great as a layer in winter!.. Definitely a bit heavier than I thought it would be, taking into consideration this is an Indonesian brand... And Indonesia is not known for its harsh winters... Although that doesn't stop the Indo army from rocking heavy IH jeans and such... Much respect for that (you crazy bastards)...
Fit: I went with a sz. 42 (Large) and it is a relaxed fit, but not too big... Had to go with the 42 for the 21.5" chest... Sleeves are def slimmer than IH shirts, all the way to the shoulder, which I absolutely LOVE... Fit is regular. Just like it should be. No crazy deviations...
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the white stitching… Don't get me wrong: it works, but I think a less bright shade of white would've worked better... It stands out a bit...
Quality: there are some loose threads here and there, sure, but all in all this is top notch quality and I reckon you'd have a very, véry hard time finding a better shirt for 50 bucks… The fabric alone is worth the money...
Oh: and thanks for the extra buttons

Broken twill 14.7". If these came with a 2" higher rise, I would not be looking any further for summerjeans. The fabric is stunning, herringbone like. My pics don't do it justice. Some quick snaps before I ship 'm to my mate…
Compared to some IH:

what we'll have (for the slim cut article) in this near future is a broken twill selvedge denim (darker shade than the previous broken twill), around 13 ounces, also from cone mills. but our slim cut article has a lower rise.i also realized that our slim straight cut (8.25" cut) has quite a low rise, especially the one in back. so i've perfected the pattern with a more room in the rise area. we'll have a restock on the 15 ounces deep indigo okayama and heavy weight edition in this near future. and they both use the perfected 8.25" pattern.
and also we'll have this new article, so called the work pants type II (also built in the 8.25" cut). a teaser:

Old Blue Co.'s design, and Obbi Good Label's craftsmanship,
this is one wallet that will last for a long time.Touching a little on the denim inlay, this beautiful 21 ounces true indigo denim is from Okayama, Japan. It is an unsanforized denim.
The denim texture is quite hairy, but still within the reasonable amounts.
The rigidness and the stiffness of these denim surely doesn't need to be questioned.Leather used is Obbi Good Label's London Tan vegetable-tanned leathers.
Orangey in colour matching dark blue of raw indigo perfectly. Our London Tan has been a popular selection of leather due to its durable characteristics and aging look. And here comes the fantastic part…
Obbi Good Label x Old Blue Co. wallet is build unbeatable details.
A Talon zipper
A selvage zipper edge
A collab logoLimited in production, only 20 made at the moment with serial number stamped.
I do not know if there will be a reproduction, as this production requires a large amount of effort between Old Blue Co and Obbi Good Label in terms of materials shipping to and fro.
So do not miss out on this incredible wallet.
