Can't go wrong with any Dogfish Head, another brewery to look out for is Southern Tier and Stone.

Stone is delicious.  Again,  their arrogant bastard ale is awesome and ruination is a great palate destroyer.

Clicked on the thread wondering if anyone would have mentioned my favorite, Stone IPA, to see that it was mentioned in the last post. Will pick up a six pack of the Dogfish Head 90 minute tomorrow and will report back!

            Dogfish Head 90!

Comes in a Four-Pack, and many members have testified to its divinity, myself included, BUT it is one of the greatest IPA's in production, pleez injoy!

While you're at it pick up a case of Hoptimum if you can.  I'm generally not a fan of Sierra Nevada (something about their pale ale just bothers me, I only taste bitterness and floral overtones that I don't care for), but Hoptimum was delicious.  It's aroma isn't too florally, has a nice thick resin-y stickiness that slides off the tongue and just the right amount of malt.

I would also suggest Hop Stoopid by Lagunitas.  It runs at 102 IBUs, but honestly it's such a smooth tasting beer and ridiculously cheap (4 bucks for a 22oz).

                Been a while…

PS: totally have a St Feuillien glass but the St Bernardus glass is 100x better (heavier, more robust) and has the same shape...  😎

Those glasses were pretty easy to find here in OK. I'll check to see if any of my usual liquor stores still have the special three packs with the glass and I'll send you one.

Got my 4-pack of Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA and sampled for the first time tonight. Very hoppy but very smooth. I'm a fan. Also thinking of getting a growler.

I purchased this as well for this weekend based on everyone's glowing recommendation. Will give my thoughts after

St. Bernardus Abt 12. It's funny, but this guy just told me "I COULD TAKE ALL THOSE PISS ARSE YANK SWILLS!.."

Frankly, I believe him… Was mainly funny because of his French accent...

That's a hoppy one!  Goes well with food and strong flavors.  The bitterness cuts through, makes it very refreshing.  Thanks for supporting small (still produced right next-door to their restaurant), local breweries, JSJ's!
