Thanks again… I think i would have bet on my Samurai (Kiya chose 2nd place), although I always loved the fading potential of the SB. Unfortunately I outgrew it a bit, but I'm wearing them still occasionally.

OK so I'm about to order a pair of these bad boys.
Measured my Levis 504's and these were the measurements
35.8 waist
11.7 front rise
15.3 rear rise
12.9 thigh
8.6 knee
8.2 hem

So by my calculations 36 should fit beautifully. Wish me luck peeps, I'm about to pop my ironheart cherry

I would consider a w34. mine stretched to 92cm.

I would consider the 34 as well.  The 21oz denim does stretch, so the waist won't stay tight for too long.  The rest of the measurements seem to match more closely with the pair you measured.  Either way, you should be fine.

Didn't have any 34's instock so I opted for 36 in the IHxB01od instead. Arrived today, jeez these bad boys are heavy. Still quite snug around the waist too, i'm looking forward to that bit of stretching.

About ready to give these their first wash.  What do you guys suggest?  Hand wash in tub or throw in the washing machine?  And any recommendations for liquid soap to use?

Was just thinking how so many people in the raw denim community over think the simple stuff like washing. While I'm new to this forum I've been around some of the others for some time. I too wash with Tide and have yet to have anything drastic happen.

The reason I ask about washing is because these are over dyed.  Never washed over dyed jeans before so I'm concerned about how much these could possibly bleed the first time around.  Looking for the least amount of indigo loss.

I'm new here and was just wondering if I should size up. I wear a size 34 and just recieved these in the mail today but I could barely get the top button to close. So my question is should I have puchased a size 36?
