I mentioned this once before, but the father of one of Julie's friends went to high school with Springsteen. They had a class reunion a couple of years ago and Springsteen went to it. No entourage, no press, just Bruce. He hung around with folks, took the standard high school reunion pictures, etc. No big deal, just an ordinary guy going back to Freehold for his reunion to see old friends…

I just love that.

just saw the Springsteen post… I had the pleasure to meet him after a concert years ago and we chatted for like 10-15 minutes about random stuff with him and some other band members and had a beer. Super nice guys...

i met him a couple times as well. Best dude. i was standing with some people i knew having a conversation and he literally walked up and just goes "hey guys, i'm bruce." blown away!
