Yea, I just bought a pair from a forum member here- can't wait!  Been planning it out for awhile now.  Got a 34 waist- I'm about a 35, so looking forward to a little bit of stretch.  I can fit in a 34 even if they don't end up stretching too much…

                        Thanks Rafa.

I did get them buttoned after about 15 or 20 minutes, and they have broken in considerably. They are still a bit tight in the waist so I walked about 2 miles in them after work. Hoping the waist is sorted by the weekend as they are giving me a bit of a muffin top right now. Pics this weekend!

Anyone want to throw up some quick measurements of the waist and thigh of some well worn waist 30s? It'd be greatly appreciated!

grandmasterben…. it really depends on what your waist size is and how much stress you put on them....i have a pair of 29's that i've stretched to 32 and a pair of 30's that have stretched to 32.    i do NOT recommend trying to stretch 29's to 32 though.  that took some serious commitment.

Yeah that sounds like it'd be seriously uncomfortable for a while… My true waist is a 31 so I'm guessing the 30s would be the ones go to for. I have a pair of busters with an 11" thigh which I really want a big bigger and I'm not sure if the 11.5" thigh in the 634s is thaaat much different but I don't really know

W30 sounds good to me for u Ben. I assume you have a tag 31 in the buster? So waist size on these is similar to a 30 in the 634s.

                                  Cheers,
                                  David

The 634s fits vastly different than the buster in my experience.  Go with the 30.

Can't thank you guys enough for the spot on sizing advice. After a week of hard wear and walking about 10 miles tonight was the first time they haven't felt too tight. Getting them hemmed at Self Edge next week when I'm in San Francisco.
