anyone care to help with the sizing of the deck jacket? looking to buy one but don't know what size i'd be…any help would be appreciated.  I'm a medium in IH stuff, would a 40 work ? thanks guys!

You should definitely go with a 36 or 38.  I own a 40 in the deck jacket (which is a perfect fit) and I wear XL's in IronHeart tops.

Ahhh thanks. Is it just me or is the length pretty short? At least from what self edge's measurements suggest

I agree with Jestre.. I have a MF Deck / in a 40 / and I'm also mostly XLs in Iron Heart.  And that 40 is plenty roomy on me.  I wouldn't say it's short-waisted, per se.  It's a bit shorter than a normal suit jacket..  If I wear it with a flannel underneath, untucked, the flannel definitely peeks out from under the Deck - but it's not enough that it looks sloppy or awkward.  With Deck jacket on, arms to the sky, maybe you can see your belt..  but it doesn't come up much higher than that.

I'll throw up a pic as soon as I can, if that will help you Grand.  Finally have a workable camera under my belt.

Already PM'd you but I own a 42 and wear Large in IH tops mostly. Guess I don't agree with the others. I would say a 40 would work for you and if not a 38 at the smallest.

LandoC - IIRC your is one of the first gen. decks, without the troy lining, right?

here´s me wearing a size 40 at Unionville (highlighted the shit out of the pic, for a better view!)
                    …IHSH-20+IHT worn under the jacket!

the 20 is just peaking out of the jacket a little bit, so no big problem imo! 5'11" ~200lbs.

                    i think i´d go with a 42 in the end!…

Mine is. However, there is a thick wool lining with the same windstopper material in between the outer fabric and the lining. Pretty sure they are the same exact thickness. I will measure mine for grandmasterben later today.

I have the 'first' gen deck jacket as well, it's less fury but I remember the thickness almost the same.
I'm 48" chest wearing size 44, I'll find photos of me wearing one. Only wear oxford shirt or flannel underneath, no room for more.

Edit: found the photos, pardon for the Q

Here's a picture of me two years ago with my 40 Deck Jacket.  The length is perfect for me due to my height (5'9").  Just use your best judgment from all the info these guys have supplied and I'm sure you'll figure it out 🙂

P.S. this jacket is absolutely amazing.

the MF deck jacket is just awesome!…i really need to have one some day. actually i'm looking for one as well (40 or 42) and even would trade my IronHeart deck jacket (XL) for one 🙂 I really love the speed hooks on it and the crunchy sound 😛

Here's my 40.  6'2 / 170ish.  Finn - it is a great jacket, but the crunchy does disappear after a couple of weeks..

Mr. Freedom designed a boss T-shirt for one of my favorite musicians. Hope it's gonna be loopwheeled, because I'm copping it.

very nice Joe, you will also love it should it be not loopwheeled as the quality of MF overall and passion of Christophe, which he brings into his products is outstanding.

                                    Cheers,

Think only a few PJ but I am not 100% sure.

Edit: the Ranch Tee Souvenir Series is loopwheeled (tubular tshirt) as well as the gym henley for example
