Anyone bought from Hannon before? I'm wondering if it would be worth it to have someone proxy me a parcel rather than buy from them direct in order to save a few $s.

If it's over 4 pounds then it has to be sent Priority mail. In which case(obviously, depending on location), you might just go with a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Yep, over 4 pounds is either Priority or Express. Depending on the weight, flat rate can be cheaper, same as domestic

The only thing I don't like is that it seems the US is one of the only countries that doesn't atleast offer a signature option for 1st Class Int'l

On the other hand: First Class is as fast as Express and Priority… I'd suggest using First Class only when you're dealing with someone you can trust though... It is not tracked and Paypal will not accept it if the buyer starts a fraude-claim... On the other hand: does Paypal accept àny USPS services, éven the tracked ones?.. I remember some mates of mine saying they only accept a UPS/ FedEx/... receipt and tracking #...

which is why i would never ship anything of value 1st class unless its to a reputable person.  Not to sound prejudice but i did a lot of business in Brazil and lost a whole lot of money because i shipped first class.  Very easy for someone to say they never received it.  It also stops tracking once it leaves US customs which is very inviting to the scammers

Id say yes and on top of that i feel like the cheaper options with USPS tend to get there quicker.  Of course thats just based on my experiences.

Domestically, you get what you pay for. But I'm biased

Internationally, UPS doesn't deal in cheap. They deal in quick and costly.

In the end, there's a reason why UPS and FedEx make money and the USPS loses it every year.

You guys just have no clue how bad the USPS is as a whole. As a capital venture, they make no sense. What the customer sees is a facade. Flat rate is a joke and UPS and FedEx laugh at them every day because now they are up to their ass in flat rate which on average, they lose money on. Bottom line, consumers aren't stupid.

There in lies the principal problem. If it actually made money, we could use that for additional services. Bottom line, they are cheap. Too cheap!

Currently on my eBay watch list is an item of clothing identical to one that I used to own, and sold because it became too small (or I became too fat). I have always regretted selling this item of clothing, and am now considering replacing it with this larger size. My dilemma is that, as we go to NYc in a few weeks, both me and Pam have agreed not to spend unnecessarily on things that we have not already budgeted for (obviously we are at G+P's next weekend so there will be some purchasing to be done).

What I am considering doing, is purchasing this item of clothing, having it delivered to my cousins house, and slying it into my wardrobe when Pam is not in, only to produce it at a later date hoping that Pam forgot that I sold it, and use it's larger size to illustrate how much weight I have lost. Is this a masterplan, or super devious?

**** Please understand that I am currently drunk, so this seems like the best idea ever at present.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !
