Red Wing Shoes

Tweed doesn't seem like the best material for a liner, but what do I know?
Also kinda surprised Red Wing hasn't ever used the Munson last before. It's a classic form that's been used in boots for nearly a hundred years.

They're up in the Redwing Amsterdam store at €490 in chocolate and hawthorne. Redwing Berlin and Hamburg have them in stock, and will put them online in the next day or two.
I'd love a pair, but I take a US 13, and these top out at 11.
Though for the same price I could get a pair of Russell Moccasins instead.

end has them: http://www.endclothing.co.uk/brands/red-wing

^ Looks like they're flying off the shelves too. Only a UK 7 and 10 left in Chocolate.

For the same price or even cheaper you could get a lot of other better boots. Sorry, just couldn't imagine paying that much for Red Wings.
-
Yeah, you'd be on your way to copping Vibergs at that price. Nice looking boots all the same.
-
Too steep. I've been lucky enough to grab my RW's at discounted prices as my local retailer was clearing out their odd sizes (extra wide and extra narrow). 10.5EE

If you are wearing socks I don't see what the problem is.
Durability was my first concern. Tweed doesn't seem like it would hold up that well. Also seems like it would be hot, which is a major concern for me, as I have sweaty feet under the best of circumstances.
