I was in SENY yesterday and met a British guy by the name of "Indigo"

Can't remember his last name but he was British and is a DJ.

Sorry Lando, again, a fairly pathetic attempt at humour:

Oops. I am a bit slow today.

Shubz is back ! I missed you guys a lot. Here's the change I'm gonna make though. I've spent sometime "studying" SuFu during my absence to see if there are any weirdos out there like myself. The truth is – NO. What I mean is, SuFu does a good job of sticking mostly to jeans. Not much discussion about hot butts, handsome faces or luscious lips. So, though I'll admire everyone's hotness from afar, I'm gonna refrain from compliments directed at physical attributes (though it's hard). I'll stick to fit compliments -- such as "those jeans fit your ass well". Beatle explained to me later over email (and rightly so) that being as demonstratively "shallow" as I am, I may alienate denim community members who don't fit the hot prototype -- so much so that they may not post evo pics or WAWYT pics. If this is true, then of course, I'd feel awful...because after all, we've come together because of our love of denim -- though we may be fat, skinny, brown, black, green, yellow, gay, straight, trans, or purple. Beatle has got waay more forum experience than I do, and I gotta respect that. Actually, her attitude is pretty egalitarian -- which is cool.
Please accept my apologies if I've offended anyone. I'm not nearly as shallow as I might seem guys ! Of course, far more matters to me about human beings than their hot butts or pretty faces.
So I have missed my IH Forum Friends tremendously and I will soon be back with a vengeance !
My big presentation is tomorrow, BTW !

Welcome back, Shuba dear. Personally, I find self-censorship almost sadder than censorship. If anyone complains about someone else getting a compliment for their butt from Shuba (or anyone else), than it might be time for action (especially for the person complaining
). Otherwise, a PC atmosphere is often just too repressive and artificial. That may be my European perspective, though. If the dreaded effect is that other members not post pics for fear of not holding up to the hot standard than that's pretty screwed. In essence that means we are more interested in pics than in people. OTOH, if we are so politically correct that we censor ourselves just to avoid any possible friction with someone who is in need of adjustment, then we have a lot of avoiding to do. Not much fun.
As long as it's compliments it should be allowed. There's no need to cater to people with an inferiority complex and thereby not giving compliments anymore where they are due. After all, one might miss out on giving a sincere compliment to a person who would really like to hear that.

Thanks for your support Till. But I'm gonna have to self-censor – I don't want to offend anyone and I want to avoid further public reprimands. My intentions are always pure -- and I'm certain that everyone on this forum gets that about me. PS. It's been shown that people who easily give compliments to others often feel very good about themselves...i.e. have high self-esteem. That's definitely true about me -- I have very high self-esteem.

Please Beatle – I know Till pretty well. Let's drop this. I don't think Till wants you to take actions against yourself. I think he's just a bleeding liberal...he doesn't embrace censorship, and his views reign true even in the hot political arena. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. Honestly, though Beatle -- I agree with your stance (not Till's anymore) -- after you explained it. I didn't get it at first, but I definitely get it now. If this were a bathing suit forum, there would be different rules of course. But it's not. So, I totally respect where you (Beatle) are coming from and this new discipline shouldn't be difficult for me.

shubs - I really know and believe that we´re cool…if I said something in the wrong way (and I know I don´t use a lot of words to say something)- you already received my apologies...
I´ve dropped it a long time ago - but it obviously bothers Till a great deal so for honesty´s sake I would like to know what he meant with it being time to "take action".
If being a mod means that one can´t speak their mind, I´d rather not be one. Or maybe on a bikini forum - actually sounds like fun....
