IH-528 - Blanket Lined Work Jacket

I am not sure exactly what this jacket will be but I am liking what I am seeing.

Can't shed any light on this at the moment.  All I do know is that I suggested that he did a blanket lined TIII last time I was there (Haraki has done one in the past).  I have also recently suggested that a flannel lined IHW-01 but in slelvedge denim (rather than Melton) would be a good idea…G

With the awesome craftsmanship we've seen on the shirts recently, wouldn't it be nice to get a reversible shirt or jacket? Denim on one side and flannel on the other. Wear as you see fit.

Beatle´s done some thinking.

With a reversible jacket you have to think about the collar construction first. Next - inside out almost rules out buttons.

Secondly - if you want to do a flannel inside / outside you have to keep in mind that a bomber style mixed with flannel might look too much like a farmers jacket gone wrong.

I do however love the idea of a reversible jacket and have already sent Giles an idea….

No prob Pete! As for the longer M65 style, not feeling it for this particular piece. Too much jacket with the blanket lining and thick material that will most likely be used. I would say this is going to be Haraki's take on a classic Duck or Garage jacket…
