Gotcha. I used to do the same between here and Montreal.
If there's one bit of advice I give to people visiting Toronto, it's stay away from Yonge/Dundas and the Eaton Centre. It's like a magnet for idiots in the city.
The weather has been a bit crazy, but it's nice putting the IHs back on. I don't know if I could wear them in proper heat and humidity.

I was dying the day I got in last week. I had my 666S on and it was like 90/32C when I landed. Yeah the only reason we went there was because of the Iced Double Americano from Aroma haha.

Over the Rainbow used to carry IH634S, but I was told the stock didn't move as quickly as they thought. It will be interesting to see if Dutil will carry it. Any plans in the works, G? Both Vancouver and Toronto?

Dutil would be cool since they are one of the best jean shops in Toronto. I feel like the prices wouldn't be too out there for them either because they already sell PRPS. Haven or Nomad would be good as well.
Im not too sure but I don't think G or H seek out shops. I think they wait for shops to come to them.

I thought Canada distribution was limited because of Kiya. I must have misread somewhere.
IH would be a great fit for Nomad or Haven (preferably Nomad as I walk by the store every day). Dutil is more of a challenge, because they seem to have a tough time moving anything other than Naked & Famous and APCs. I've been looking at the same, unmoving Momotaro/PBJ/Big John stock since they opened.
I know I would own more IH if more of it was in stock here. I'm planning on a pair of 25 oz 666s, but it sure would be nice to a)try them on b)not have to worry about customs/duty on USD500.

Kiya has USA….We will soon be selling through www.rueandstate.com (RAWR). They have the stock, just building their site…..

If you get hit customs duty when we ship, you'll be in the 2% of unlucky Canadians who have got hit when we ship to Canada, and we ship to Canada almost daily…...
I was not hit with customs for the first couple of orders. After that, it seems they smartened up and I've been hit ever since.

RAWR is based in Canada, so that will be a good solution. At least if I get another pair of 666s I know how they fit.
And I'm sensitive to customs - I got hit with $88 on a $200 pair of sneakers yesterday. Ouch.

Its not the customs (sales tax) thats out of the normal, its the 'brokerage' fees added on top when a courier service is used that don't appear when parcels come through regular (national) mail systems.
If I had ordered based on what I thought my size was, I would have ended up with a bad fit. Trying on was key, and I am grateful to the fact I was able to do so through Serpentine. I love my IH-634S and would like more IH gear, but am very reluctant to mail order.
Guess I'll have to wait for US/UK trips. Can't be mad about a very small product selection available, very small market up here.
