the trail oxford.  I think I got a half size too big though, and Im still getting some irritation on the top of my foot when I put them on.  It goes away, but why its there in the first place is beyond me.

My brown'uns are half a size too big but still more comfortable than any of my sneakers… Give it some time... Did you get the peanut suede per chance?.. Màn those look good

no, i got the brown ones.  dont get me wrong, they are super comfy in most respects, but I just get a tad bit of heel slippage if I tie them too loose.  I have had them for about a month, so maybe I just need to give it more time.

Love the leather, love the toe caps, not a fan of the lowered heel, or the block heel.

Yeah, I've really grown to love the traditional White's Cuban heel.  Now anything else just looks… off, somehow.

I own both types of heels and have to say the block heels beat the "cuban" heels by far when it comes to versatility.

Anyway, like those boots a lot. By the look of them I am wondering what your shoe size is?

The standard heel is a different look for sure, but after owning both I now prefer the standard over the block.

I prefer the standard heel for aesthetic reasons really, my first SD's had the block heel and I got sick of people saying "nice boots, Red Wing GT's right?", every time I posted a WAYWT.

I've heard people claim that it feels better to walk in the standard heel, but I honestly cannot tell the difference.
