hello giles, me again.

ok, i know you've posted about this jacket before and i believe you said it was also 21oz? and i'm also guessing it is sanforized. so basically, is this just like the 634s, can i get it and throw it on right away for wear? i really am psyching myself into this jacket… but no one can know that  must live in the shadows! lol i even took measurements of my dry bones jacket for comparison when you get in the sizes and perhaps size chart  ::)

Nope - it is a really very nice sanforised, but unwashed 14 or so oz  selvedge denim.  It will shrink about about an inch in the length and an inch or so in the chest after a good soak:

For reference, I am 6'2". 180 and 42 chest and I can just about get away with an L.

But that said, this jacket was a tad bit big when i bought it so a Large will be the ticket for the freebee. would you agree giles?

i tend to ALWAYS layer my dbtype3, meaning undershirt, tee, and often hoody. but without it has plenty of space. haha

You gotta be a large.  My L is a tad short on me (which I quite like), but I couldn't wear a hoody under it.  I reserve it for summer wear over a T.

awesomeness. thats what i was also thinking. and the chest of the dbt-3 has some room, as in, i can pull at where you measure the chest and it can come out a bit, you know, so its not super tight. sounds great though. what are we potentially looking at as far as estimated/exact cost of this beautiful garment?

It's the same thing.  And no, 14700 does not equate to 350.  I need to speak to Haraki to get a cost and then I can calculate the price.  It may come in at lower than 350, it depends upon what he decides I need to pay, then taxes, shipping etc have to be factored into the equation…G

^ Yup! i was suprised as hell to have found those links so easily. its really a great looking jacket and as i already have a type 3 i really wanted a type 1 or 2. looks like i'm gonna only have a type 2 to concern myself with in the future.
