Budapest… what an awesome city. I'm desperate to go back and hit the bars and the baths.

I have been trying to plant a seed in my girls head for about a year to make a move there.  She isn't having it so far.

Budapest is a great place but why the lack of a decent salad? The markets had good produce but the best I could get at a restaurant was some onion with pork scratchings.

I love pork but it is not a salad.

I was there in 2007 during the heat wave - fuck that was hot man.

I believe u were in what they call the 7th District.  It is close to the Jewish quarter .  Pork is a big part of Hungarian Cuisine and healthy eating is not on the menu lol.  My mother inlaw loves heart attack cooking

I'll always remember the first meal I had in Budapest. It was two chicken fillets wrapped in bacon with a blanket of melted cheese and white sauce over the top. What an artery blocker!

SM,  That is one of my favorite things to eat.  It had peppers on it right?  I'v eaten that dish a million times .
