Simon, what can I say ? You've given me an education. I'm not willing to try but I'm always inquisitive, eyes wide open – to see and learn more about the "dark and seedy side" of human existence. PS. I think you should go into show biz. Oh I know...don't set your eyes on being the next Brad Pitt but rather -- try something like a Personal Assistant to Brad Pitt (ever see the HBO show "Entourage" ? You could be Turtle).

Trust me, I have an Asian mom…I'm South Asian. It's a weird situation that most white people just can't relate to...but I know you can. Your parents will stay intertwined in your life forever -- and most oddly, you won't mind it at all. Even when you're 40.

Simon - your sentiments match mine exactly. It's the Asian upbringing that's talking. My brother-in-law had to accept the very same thing your girl will have to accept – the presence of his mother-in-law (my mom) 24-7...and that's exactly what's transpired. It wasn't exactly easy in the beginning (for my bro-in-law) since he's NOT Asian...but over time, he's grown to love my Mom like his own. She's helped out tremendously with the raising of my nephews -- and that's been a Godsend.

Guys, I'm going to have to get militant. If you start messing/spamming up threads with stuff that is irrelevant to the thread title, I will either delete it or move it (making stacks of work for me, which I don't need).
You have plenty of flexibility to create new threads if you need to. So please do that rather than go off topic.
The net result of this anarchy is that the thread loses its relevance, makes the forum really difficult to navigate and puts both existing and new members off contributing.
Let's have some sort of discilpline please.

Yes I did spend all weekend a few weeks ago swining it up with Phish at The Greek Theatre. Here is just one of the songs performed. They were all good. Unfortunately I don't wear my IH gear to Phish. My IH-634S's are too small and I misplaced my SExIH07's during my last move. Also, I don't want to risk losing or ruining any of it in that environment. Hey Lando, you are a SWINE!!!
