These are a couple that we stock:

And I think there's another…
Edit: We don't stock them anymore... But any decent supermarket/specialist beer shop should. Or a website.

Nice label on that Vedette, where did you get it?..
Chez Colruyt
occasionally some appear with different labels:

You weren't :). Yesterday I finished of the last of the Belgian ( and Dutch) beers I bought recently:
Very nice, more will be purchased…
Edited for my increased knowledge...

I'll have to find somewhere that sells it first :).

MP, La Trappe is actually a Dutch trappist beer…

MP, La Trappe is actually a Dutch trappist beer…
Thanks for the info… If I'd checked the bottle closer I would have known earlier. But after working late last night my only thought was: "Beer in cupboard... Need to drink beer".
Edited original post to appear less ignorant (futile, but I do try ;)).

The (foolish) assumption was: beer brewed in abbeys = Belgian.
-
I think I once read on a box of Chimay that there are only 7 Trappist breweries in the world- 6 Belgian, one Dutch. So based on statistical averages, beer brewed in abbeys = Belgian is usually the right call.

From Wiki:
There are currently seven breweries that are allowed to have the products they sell display the Authentic Trappist Product logo:
Bières de Chimay
Brasserie d'Orval
Brasserie de Rochefort
Brouwerij der Trappisten van Westmalle
Brouwerij Westvleteren/St Sixtus
Brouwerij der Sint-Benedictusabdij de Achelse Kluis/Achel
Brouwerij de Koningshoeven/La TrappeOf course: then there are dozens and dozens of other abbey beers…
