There's a brewery or two that brews beer for gluten and wheat intolerant people. Off the top of my head I can't recall any names, but I can find out at work. I'll check later… Don't despair (at least on the beer front).

MP, La Trappe is actually a Dutch trappist beer…

Correction: the only Dutch Trappist beer…  I would bet good money that centuries ago they were Belgian, though
