as promised to bro davito, here's my 666S worn since 21/2/12. details: 0 wash, 1 initial hot soak. pardon the poor lighting at my dining area.  😶

Haha I wore it so often (everyday, 7days a week but only evenings on weekdays after 5pm and whole day on weekends) that now its so soft and tame. It feels as soft like my 634S; almost as soft like a t-shirt kinda feel already.

Well rotation? Hmm, I'm guilty of getting quite a few pairs after my 666S but somehow, my heart keeps telling me to wear it daily till it hits the 6 months mark before I rotate.

Anyway looking at the other 666S posted here, mine's nothing to shout about and instead I ought to feel embarrassed about my progress. Hahaha! Still, this was my first love and the very first step into the realm of iron heart darkness. Now I'm a total worshiper for iron heart that I'd never get any other garments. 😃

Finally got my parcel. Thanks Giles for your speed, and perfect work on hemming.

One hot soak, 45min, 60degrees. My devil dry quietly.

I tried a pair 666s today in 31 and it was a very tight fit at the waist. It was a bit of a pain to get the top button through the hole (but that could be because the stiffness of the denim). Should I go to a size 32 and soak super hot or should I get the 31s and soak cold and try to stretch them to fit? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
                                  Thanks

I would say 32 if you had a hard time buttoning up the raw 31

I really think part of the difficulty buttoning them up had a lot to do with the stiffness of the denim and the small button holes.

yes, the tiny button holes and stiffness of the denim makes it bloody hard to button initially.. G posted some tips on how to expand the holes using pliers (I used thick scissors). Reckon the pic is in the 25oz jeans thread but not sure which one. 😃
