How the hell did you come up with that?

so its not so simple as to just weighing the belt.  😉

I think you should start your own unit of measuring belts volcano.  Aka roll up belt and toss on scale.

^ nah we cannot do that. Cos most leather belts sold are measured usually in oz so having your own measurements also wouldn't help.

Actually, I'm very pleased with the IHB-02 Tan but would like to try Tanner Goods leather belts. Thus I need to compare both. 😞

Sorry if I pissed anyone off with my questions. 😞

Tanner good 13 oz belt are thicker than iron heart belts. But no other advantages for being thicker. The iron heart belt is just nice.. I have 17 oz belt and i ended not wearing it often because it is too stiff to wear.

true but i was just looking for alternatives.  😉 anyway suggested to G to consider having a few more designs of belt. hopefully, just hopefully it'll come true.  😶

and i realised that the "finish" on iron heart belts are so well-done that there isn't much "raw hide" or whatever you call it, around. its all neat and smooth at the edges and the back.  😘

IHB-01. Have it in brown and black. Never thought I'd spend that much on a belt before, now I can't see myself wearing a different belt…

And some shitty pics of my IHB-02, tan. Only recently have been wearing this a bit more. One treatment with Obenauf's LP last summer. No cleaning or any of the kind.

I find my heavy tanner belt to be a bit too big.  causes my shirt to bulge out.

I assume you are referring to the length.  Take it to a competent cobbler and have it shorten, problem solved!

It bulges forward due to the thickness 🙂
