Samurai Jeans
-
You know how I like it
-
One question: Where do I get them???
-
Thanks bagley, I'll take a look right now…
-
This is true- BiG is your only domestic source. Gordon is a pretty helpful guy, so if you have something specific in mind that you don't see on the website, email him and he may be able to work something out for you.
-
I know, I have two pairs of Sams from him…Didn't see these on the site though, they might be too new.
I'll shoot him an e-mail and see if he can get these. Thanks Chris! -
You know I'm always here for you.:)
-
Appreciate it my friend!

I guess that's intentional though, based on the info Blue in Green has on their site:
Front pocket bags have an original Jacquard pattern interwoven with thin Beige threads which reads "Shogyo Mujo" (諸行無常), a basic belief principle that all things of this world are transient and impermanent; also translated as "Everything is transient and always changing" or "All Things Change"
Btw, does the denim feel stiff and rough against the skin on the S0500XX?

I have determined that cotton stitching is for the birds…
Not really a fan of it myself. I've made about a dozen, albeit small, repairs on my Samurais in about 6 months of wear. It's a pain in the butt, and I'm not one of those purist types that thinks popped stitches and failing seams are how jeans are supposed to look because in the 1890s people didn't have poly thread.

Very nice yong, I have the same cut in the 27 oz., one of my fave pairs.
-
They've been posted earlier on this thread, go back and check them out.
I've had them almost a year now
and need to post some evo pics, only one wash so far after about 7 months of wear but the fades are
looking pretty good. -
taken in direkt sunlight just a few minutes ago:
The only thing I'm "proud" of is the wallet fade (credits to OGL) and that I didn't have to do any repairs yet
-
right, I gave them one soak in the top block some weeks/months ago to freshen up the denim in that area. but the rest is pretty raw (besides the initial soak)
