I had one the other day, I did not even take a pic of it it just looked completely impossible to fix, I even told the customer I thought we not be able to do anything with them. I sent it to Gon and she repaired them, I was simply speechless when they came back, absolutely incredible job….
PM from customer when he got them back....

Anyone have a list of reasons IH jeans are so expensive, I wanna be able to justify to my wife when I buy my next pair, I think she thinks it's just name brand type deal, SHE DOSENT GET IT, obviously there way better made but specific reasons..
Not the answer, but people choose to spend their cash on stuff that that represents good value to them. I for one would not think of spending $86.9m on this in a million years, but apparently there is someone out there who just did….

well, I think the whole becomes easier when your limiting step becomes finding a tailor that can add suspender shanks, and you jean choices are unlimited, rather than searching for quality jeans in the cut your dad wants that already have suspender shanks, where your choices will be few

Fabric weight can be a factor; Westerns look good with snaps and a light material could not support snaps. Also, works shirts are more suited to buttons (a corollary to the above)
