IH-704 - Reverse Out Cotton Satin Cargo Pants
-
Hey folks,
those of you that already got their hands on these pants, what is your experience size-wise?
Did you stick with your usual IH denim size or did you size up? Any stretching experience so far?I'm torn between two sizes, 32 (my usual IH denim size for 634S and DC4001) and 33 (Busters).
Cheers
PeterHi Peter I went TTS with my usual IH size 30, see my posts and fit pix earlier. I think they have streched a small amount already while riding the bike on the weekend. The pant is sitting low due to its front rise, which I like much as I am very slim built. Check the posted measurements from Giles, I think you are OK with a 32, sizing up 1 is possible if you like a relaxed fit.
Myself, I like it fitted at the beginning with a little stretch afterwards. But do not expect a lot of stretch

Thanks for the feedback.
Just one last query, are those double layer knees or is the front sewed together from different parts?
Cheers

Thanks so much Giles, everything clear now.

Just a few quick notes:
-seriously comfortable and light
-pocket bags seem tough as heck (possible military grade?)
-sewn cargo pocket flap is a ridiculously awesome functional feature
-the reverse face of the cotton satin (or sateen, not sure which one?) is super slubby
-inside face is smooth and soft
-slash pockets are easy access (not like jeans)Amazing, thanks Haraki-San for making me look like a badass on the regular.

I picked these up. Wasn't planning on it, but they look like my new cool weather hiking pants.

Got my Olive ones yesterday, great material, very comfy.
Hope there will be some other future models made from the same fabric.
Maybe some Fatigue Pants?Cheers
