This record would've cost you a couple of thousands of €uro, but has just been repressed… Stoked to add to the collection...

I know one or two folks here will appreciate this  😉

                  Random Concert Note

-On 12/28/11, I went to Madison Square Garden (MSG) to see Phish. It was the first show of a 4 night NYE run. I had just got my new TWHR01.  When I attend cold weather indoor shows, I usually wear khakis (shitty Polo ones) because it is nice and cool. Since I wanted to show off my TWHR01s, I wore them. 3 effing songs in, my legs were soaked in sweat. My knee caps were even sweating. A word to the wise, the 13.5oz and 18oz is not good indoor concert gear unless your crazy. My friend Ohenry was wearing 21oz and he wasn't half as hot as me. Know your weaves….

Mike, that's definitely good to know.

And Seul,  I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of that.  Definitely a sick addition to your collection.

Here's a somewhat random question for the married contingent: how did you go about choosing the music for your wedding? My fiancee and I don't have "our song" but there's plenty of music that's special to us. Just not sure if it would work at a wedding ceremony and reception.

Any tips or stories to share?

I believe that is the defining evaluative criteria…

Oh I know. I am just imaging the explanation(s). Fair enough question. Surely adam or mikeC will chime in.

                                          Well…for starters...
--genuine, original, creative songwriting, coupled with classic covers that are oftentimes so much better than the original song.
–terrific harmony of unique voices, the background voices are both low and high pitched, while Trey's voice is smooth and soothing. its expressive without being loud or forceful.
–the jams, the long improvised, active jams that blast out into space, relax into introspective orbit and then return almost seamlessly into the next verse of the song.  These musicians are so good at their instruments, everyone can play so many notes and so many variations that no song sounds the same twice.
–and then there's the extraordinary fact that they can play three or four nights at the same venue and never play a song twice, that's like 70-90 songs!
--I prefer them because every song is executed with tremendous precision and clarity.  These guys have been together for decades so the concerts are coherent and expansive.  And personally I find their music to be refreshingly intelligent and masterful.
