lol….being the second child and having a Dad who was pretty much set on having a boy (he'd already picked out my name , Paul) I had to make up for the "disappointment" by doing all the manly stuff...playing soccer, working with him on projects like building and fixing stuff, changing car tires and whatnot....I'm not really gender conscious , so to say - I wear what I like - and mostly and all my life I found a pair of jeans and boots way more interesting and practical than a skirt and high heels. The good thing is - if there's a line at the ladies room at the airport - I can always sneak in next door and skip the long wait..LOL

Beatle, I don't do dresses/skirts either. God, that shit is awful ! But I'm mechanically deficient in every way. I can't even hang a wall picture. People who know me find me to be "a typical girl" and really rather feminine. But that's why I write software for a living – though I studied Electrical Engineering. It's not an unusual career choice really but I fumble when working with electronics and hardware, though I comprehend the technology and concepts. It's not really my thing (working with my hands), and I subscribe to "Roadside Assistance" on my cellphone plan because I couldn't change a tire if my life depended on it. And, no I'm not athletic in the least. So I run 6-miles at a pop and do yoga 6 days a week, but I'm not athletic. I didn't do shit in high school and in college. I move my ass rigorously to stay slender and feel great mentally and physically -- but I'm not talented enough to do sports. As I said in an earlier post -- the important thing is to wear clothes in such a way as to give YOU confidence. Your look is what's comfortable TO YOU, and you'll look attractive in whatever you wear -- if you are being authentically and genuinely YOU !

OK, here's my pathetic little shoe collection. These are the only shoes I own to my name, most of which you've seen already in photos. The 2nd row are my summer shoes. I don't do socks most of the time during the summer time. The 2nd row are shoes from a company called "SoftWalk" – which I LOVE. Again, remember my criteria -- I should be able to walk 15 miles in them, and with SoftWalk, I can and do ! My feet are quite narrow so most summer sandals don't work for me...but the SoftWalk narrows are perfect. I know that they'll probably make LandoCal throw up and head to ER though....

I'm sure Lando will get over it…
I'm not….
Oh come on guys… I know I can be tough but I am not a complete dick. Although I don't believe that running shoes are the best look with IH's, I can understand Shubs reasoning for her love of comfort. I do however love that she was open to trying out the Clark's and I think they look incredible! One day I will get my sneaker collection up here for you all to see... Anyone have a wide lens?!?

Very sleek those Diors. Price is outrageous, though, especially at retail. Ouch!
Check out the Eduard Meier sneakers from Munich. More exclusive than the Diors, all leather with some exotic selections, too, like water buffalo or shark. Don't know the price these days but should be in the E 200 range.
