I really don't think there to bad, I wear them to work where I load ups trucks and am sweating, my legs don't feel uncomfortable, I will be wearing them all summer regardless, I wanna see these things fade, I've been wearing this pair 7 days and already see fading in crotch, and tiny bit on honeycombs and knees, in bright sunlight of coarse, but seems like they won't take overly long to fade, I wear them from 3 am till 7pm daily, and wear them pretty hard. Also Just yesterday and today I've noticed that they are much more comfortable, it took about that long and I assume they will get better and better, kiya says I think that iron heart denim only streches in the waist not legs or top block but I've def experienced strech in just a week, cause I could barely walk at first and now they are perfect, Mabey just cause its a diff denim but either way, there noticeably getting more comfortable. Way way more than you asked for, haha.

i think they're gonna be hot as hell in the summer, the denim is tight and of course they're so dark they're just gonna soak up the sun, they feel a lot more like the 19/23 oz unsanforized denims in terms of breathability, not like the 21 oz sanforized denim that breaths much better

G is the expert but I would say no, no shrink = no change weight

They wil get a tad heavier as there is a tiny bit of shrinkage

well there you go; so G does that apply to the 21oz as well, or are you saying this denim behaves a little differently?

The 21oz probably actually weighs a bit more than 21oz.  The weight is calculated in the denims loomstate.  Haraki dips all the 21oz jeans prior quality control, so it will have shrunk a bit from the loom state…

thanks G. crazy how two sanforized denims so close in weight can feel so different, great stuff from Haraki and company as usual.

ok now back on track here, I will not post again without a fit pic

Giles,What technically makes the two denims so different? I'm extremely interested in the process.

thanks, no cuff, chopped em short, if I had the ability I might add a little bit back on I really have no skill figuring out length to achieve a certain fit. but they are much easier to wear to work now without the cuffs and stacks

                                  better pics promised soon

                                          Hi !

For those of you who already got your greedy hands on a pair of SEX13 or considering adding a pair to the pile, BUT!!
at the same time are afraid that your thighs are to thick even if you size up.
                                          I have a solution da daaaa…...;)

                                          First cold soak the jeans.
Lay the jeans flat on the floor, while wet.

grab two pieces of round 6-10 inch long wood (or anything else without sharp edges). Take one "jack" (not sure if its the right name, - but this thing used for lifting a car) -
Now put the two pieces of wood where you want the thighs to expand (from crotch), and put the jack in between.
One leg at a time you turn the handle and leave it stretched out for about ten minutes.
As soon as you remove the tools, you replace them with dry towels, stuffed really hard to avoid the denim from shrinking back.
The towel stuffing takes a little muscle, but its worth the sweat.
With both legs (thighs) filled out, hang the jeans to dry.

I gained 0,5 inch across witch i think is quiet a lot. Now i can actually bend my legs 😉

                                          Lovely jeans.

                                          Enjoy People.

Haha. A little extreme but I might have tried it if I read this 2 weeks ago, I could barely walk in these things, but in only 10 days they have streches perfectly and I think they will stretch more too, but your right, it's worth it. Best denim I've ever owned, bar none.
