So yeah: if you want, I'll order a Zing for you with my order and ship it to you (for free).

But do let me know either way asap, as I want to pay him within 24 hours…

And the ugliest imo… Never liked that kind of stuff...

And I'm the exact opposite. I much prefer a trapper over the rest

After deciding against trying to import the Zing, (the distinct possibility of customs charges and hassle really put me off), I then found Heinnies, and have spent the last day browsing their extensive selection….......to the point that I'm now down to a shortlist of 5,
                Spyderco Tenacious
                Rough Rider Trapper
                Spyderco Kiwi
                Kershaw Zing
                Boker Plus Subcom 42 Ti

                Any advice?

I know that only the Rough Rider, Kiwi and Subcom are UK legal, but I would use the other choices for outdoor stuff anyway, so that isn't too much of an issue for me.

Did you see this one, it's what I'm getting next:

Seul/Doug - thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated! Since I'm torn between the traditional stye and the modern fast-openers, I'm going to get both the Rough Rider and a Kershaw…..Seul, I'd like to take you up on your very kind offer, expect a PM shortly 🙂

Michael, that Enzo looks very slick, and I'll keep it in mind for the future.

                          great thread this one 🙂

i was wondering if anybody has a large regular sebenza for sale? i'm feeling the urge again. I got rid of my small 21, large classic and now just have the small regular but i think i need the large regular to go with it 😉

The Sebenza's back baby!.. Opens and closes so smoothly again… Sharp as a razor... Guy charged me 4 €... Yeah: I know I should just learn to do it meself but for 4 € I can't be arsed... I'll just let him do it every couple of months...

One quite weird thing, though… There was half a bandaid in my box...  :o

It actually is. I did some research (which I should've done first, sorry) and yes it appears that the knives are indeed garbage and their QC is next to non-existing.

                                            Thanks DNg!..

I also found that there are fake Sebenzas out there. If you're buying 2ndhand: watch yourself!..
