my cheap chronograph Hong Kong generic watch is not behaving well.  Will probably need to replace with an Luminox soon.

Just started wearing this one again.  Really, I don't think there's a better watch for the price.  The blue dial is one of the best I've seen at any price, too.

Nice, with an Explorer-vibe. I'd like it more with a sterile dial though..

Some nice stuff from Tudor in Basel this year:

            Black bay

            Pelagos (in titanium)

Not much interesting stuff from the other brands though..

              Yeah, they are somehow "linked":

I would like it without the logo/writing AND without the minute hands, but can't have it all I guess 🙂

Couldn't agree more Chris, you've motivated me to break out my Mako, then had to go with the Big Blue to compliment it!

                    No minute hand?
So something like a MeisterSinger?  Or if you're looking for one a touch less spendy, the Botta Uno.

May I commend you on your excellent taste in watches, Simon?  And for one-upping me quite nicely?  Bravo. 😉

British? Ummm aye, that's stretching it a bit as yes it was a British firm Back In The Day but the original Smith's long since folded and the name was snapped up by Timefactors and the watch in question now  has a Japanese Miyota movement, although it would be much more expensive if made with a ETA 2892 for sure and to be fair they do however seem to have very favourable reviews all over. Although i do like the one you have pictured(the fact it homages an Explorer does make giggle) i for one favour the 29A as i would love an original W10 but it it have to be a minter and those cost a huge chunk of change.

That one is definitely a good choice, but the SARB065 Cocktail Time is my favorite.  Granted, it's €70 more expensive, but it's oh so pretty.

Just asked whether they can put a steel bracelet on it… Looks like I have made up my mind...  😠

Easy, stud… Price has dropped a lot on this since December 2k11, so I won't buy anywhere soon as long as it keeps going down... Price actually went down 20-25 € in a week...

Awaiting the € to become stronger as well... Probably a summer purchase...

Got it.  Must be nice to have a currency that's actually appreciating against the yen.  The dollar just keeps going down.  Makes feeding my Japanese clothing fetish harder and harder.

Still want pics if you pick out up this summer…

The leather one looks pretty cool with that AP type clasp.
I would be chuffed with that.

Just get an aftermarket bracelet for it? It's probably way too difficult to find one with end links/pieces that sit flush with the case but ones with straight end pieces will fit.

And to be honest, that model won't look "right" with a steel bracelet IMO, except for a mesh one maybe?

I saw Giles's comment about his Breitlings keeping poor time. I've got an Avenger Sea Wolf (which has to be the most ridiculous name for a watch ever), and it's often run slow.

After it's been serviced twice, and sent back for repairs twice as well, it's finally keeping time.

Incidentally, I got shown a Chopard Tourbillon the other day. £52K of watch. Very nice.
