      Ian at Batan at 04:30 this morning, waiting for the fleet to get itself sorted and come into Singapore en masse…..

            Sitting in The Marina at Keppel Bay, Singapore.  Next leg starts in about an hour.  Next stop Qingdao, Ians home port…..Come on Ian....

                    Qingdao next stop….

                    And Gold Coast had to come back - fuel leak…..Let's hope they make race start, which is actually 3 hours motoring out of Singapore, they need to be clear of the shipping lanes before they rely on sail alone......

                                          Glad everyone seems to be alright although those boys took quite a knocking. CBS evening news just did  a quick segment on it.

                                            Ian had the choice of spending until the start of the next leg (14th April) in Oakland, or flying home for a week.  Now, I am not judgemental, but he decided to come back to Gosport and spend some time with his mates,  I think that was a good call.  He has been away from here for 8 months, so we had a little drink with him tonight.  Tomorrow night will be a mega-curry session at our house, I expect things to get messy in every sense of the word….
