Great 310s rongiggles. It's all about that 3xxx denim…  How long have you been wearing them?

Thanks, they've had about 14 months wear, 2-3 machine washes, 2 handwashes and 1 in the sea..  I cycle a lot and got 'em good and muddy a few times.  Here's the worst they got (party in the woods):

I've long wondered though - does this actually have any effect on evo once the jeans are washed?

  I'm sure the mud takes more indigo with it when washed, but whether that is good as it means they fade faster, or bad as it means you get less contrast/low fade areas, I would say is all down to the beholder's eye, and the denim in question…  - silly sentence, can't be bothered to rewrite

As far as I know the 3009 is slightly tapered. Am I right G?

3009 is based on a 66 cut, as is the 634.  Both taper a little from the knee to the cuff…

Just put them on top of each other…
3005 seems closer to 634 in the top block, knee and hem is straight cut but slightly wider than 634
3009 seems closer to 634 from thighs down, exact same width for knee and hem (but denim is not 21oz, will feel different), top block seems different in angle and back rise seems shorter

All in all, I would guess that 3005 should feel like the closer match (only slightly wider in the knee and hem), but 3009 should have the closer matching measurements.
(due to the variation between lots and sizes I can only make these assumptions based on my jeans: TFH 3005-A, IHT510/IH-634S, TR-010/TFH X009)
