IH-634S-RAW - 21/23 ounce raw straight cut

Going through TSA this morning wearing my raws proved to be a little interesting.
I walked into the full body scanner, which I totally love to begin with, and that's when it all began.
I stepped out and two TSA folks where examine my scan. Then the questions start. "sir are you wearing some type of leg braces?" So I'm like no and provide no more info. Now a third guy comes over and they discuss. Finally a pat down ensues and they in all their TSA wisdom decide that it's just a really heavy fabric.
TSA lacky "what are those, some type of cowboy denim?"
Zee "yeah, somethin like that."
God bless America, home of the free.
I'm just glad I decided not to wear a IHB-03 this morning or else I'm pretty sure I would have never made my flight.

In an attempt to be helpful I did just that and the bottom exploded shooting a stream of glue over my new 634S-RAW jeans which has now set… I'm gutted!

I had the same experience with the full body scanner about a month ago - but with my Samurai Texas cotton 15oz. After the pat down, the TSA agent told me the same - the heavy denim jeans gather at the ankle and knee causing the machine to flag something is concealed. I was thinking these are not heavy and was sort of glad I had decided not to wear my 25oz 666.

After a couple days of wear, I feel my thigh-to-butt area a bit baggy, and would love it to be a bit snugger, I was thinking of doing a hot soak from waist to just above the knee, I got input from my brotha Peterock….any others would like to chime in if this would help??

I highly recommend another hot soak for you Cris.  Hell, even a hot wash if you're not picky about that kinda stuff.  They should tighten up nicely and give you a better fit.

Cris, throw them in the washing machine in hot water, I did this and it snugged up the thigh
and butt area. Hang them to dry in a warm place. They will be snug at first but will stretch
to fit you after a couple days.

^Thanks you two….and I'm assuming from the knee down it will shrink as well, I got them tapered-in, so with the hot wash, I would imagine they would get skinnier, which I want to avoid.
