Really?.. We have a recycle center in every town… Furniture, clothes, bikes; you name, you can find it... But I don't frequent them anymore... I should though... You never know: this thread has built my hopes up!..

if you can find one, they are usual full of crap, every now and then I pick up some records, but the rest is pretty much garbage…

that is the case with most thrift stores.  just gotta dig.  i think i mostly just enjoy the hunt.

as long as you find something yes, or get at least to see something interesting… mean I like hunting for rare CD / records, since I score there every single time I go out picking, but for other stuff thats just really difficult here around.... unfortunately...

Had one of my best scores in a really long time this morning!  Royal Tweed by Church's chukka boots in ridiculously good condition for $12!!!!!!!  I found them in the thrift store today and actually let out a "HA! YES!!"  and everyone around me just looked at me like i was insane.

Found this Vanson Ike Leather Jacket in a thrift store yesterday. Feels kinda short for me but we'll see. Fits great otherwise.

The fit is great for me, so like a normal L-XL.

I like the Vanson Ike but I might put it up on eBay to fund getting a Vanson City Jacket. I only paid $40 for the Vanson. I don't mind putting stuff up on eBay that I like at higher prices, if someone bites, cool, if not I just keep it.

1940s Hercules Brown horsehide jacket in good vintage condition for $150? Good deal? What do y'all thing resale value would be? Probably size 48 chest I would assume. Red quilt lined. Let me know quick like.

Found some West German Jackboots at an Army Surplus store. Need to be resoled, so we'll see if I hang on to them or not.

I went ahead and bought it. The lining is in mint condition. I'll put it on ebay for a ridiculous price and wear it in the meantime. It was the most expensive thing in the vintage store in Toronto. The women said that many people commented on that jacket and it was the first time they had seen a Hercules jacket in real life.
