PSA: I bought these full price at Epaulet and would do it again, but they're on sale now. They're extremely comfortable and your jawns will stain them.

a little birdy told me everything for them goes on sale. not really a fan, but i'm sure the quality is incredible.

Don't know what it was, but I wasn't too keen on them at first to be honest. One day they grew on me. That bright red IHSH-51 was the same way.

yuketens always see deep price slashes at the end of the season. random yuketen related post, if the pair you are after are stocked in a lot of places you might want to wait to get them on the cheap

Definitely going to cut the laces a bit. They haven't even been worn more than twice and leather laces stretch like crazy as is.

I have to say I like the Brown laces on the ones pictured above. I also noticed that the Crepe Sole on the pair I just got is much thinner and not attached as well as the above photo or like my anglar mocs. Anyone know what the difference is besides store makeup? I will take photos of the soles shortly(see below for now).
and what do you think of this one?

I love the Blue Maine Guide Oxford. I owned them until a few days ago when I traded them for the Green CHukkas I just posted. Blue w/ White is hard t pull off. I have always wanted a pair of the Green Sued Chukka w/ Crepe Soles. Bitter about my soles as I had toe drag today a few times.

well I can't help you about telling you the differences on your pair and the posted pair but I'd say try them brown laces, they look pretty nice!
and I have to say after copping my first pair of Yuketen I'm really in love with this brand and I'm definitely out for more in the near future -
both are sports chukas, white laces for spring/summer brown laces for fall/winter. other than that it might just be wear & tear on the pair you have as my crepe soles look a lot thinner now as opposed to when new. not really much help, but all i can tell from just looking at these images. you might just have a slightly gimp pair
