    @madmonday:

    i always thought Viberg sizes were based off UK sizing charts?  just to add to the conversation my bobcats are an 8.5, and i could have gone down to a 8 and still have plenty of room for thick socks.

    giving them a call (per chris' recommendation) seems like the best bet on getting sizing taken care of as with most things everyone has an experience that varies  😞

    and what is your size in RW?

        **_Nice to hear, thanks arrow.

        Do you think it can be add a insole to your boots or that would be too tight(lets say wearing thin socks)?._**

          Vibergs are based on UK sizing.  Mr Viberg senior learnt his craft in England…...Nuff said....

            I do exactly what you intend to do with 4H Vibergs.

            I currently use half insole (orthopedic ones) and still plenty of room for medium/thick socks.
            Don't recommend wearing thin socks with these boots.

            Recently, I had a cobbler apply a thin layer of leather on the inside of the left boot to help with the fit.
            It alleviated some of the heel "pinching" that I felt and the boots are much more comfortable now and good for walking again.  The cobbler was actually amazed on the quality of the boots and he's familiar with Vibergs.

            I'll post pics sometime this weekend.  Overall, I think you'll be fine with sizing half size down from your RW size.

            Watch out though for the 10 weeks waiting period… BUT...it's truly worth every penny.

              arrow, you are helping  a lot. I almost sold to down size half from RW.
              How is the fit on your RW? Do you use insole on them?

                      I like these minus the cab toe. Too rich for my blood though.

                              I'm sure you could order these custom and get a similar boot for less and non-distressed. I don't like the distressed look either.

                                The sad part is you can make them look that way within a month (or less) of normal wear
