Is the "rear rise" measurement in the shop correct for the 28W?  It has it at 12.8" for the SB, whereas the 634S is 14.3", just for comparison.

Is either the 634 SB or the BusterOD denim unsanforized?  I looked through the threads but could not find a definitive answer.  Thanks.

The closest I came was on page 46, but it was from a poster whose name shall not be spoken here  😶

Both are sanforised, but even if they weren't the OD process would effectively have done the job…..

Thanks for the quickness, Giles.  Self-Edge says both sanforized and unsanforized on their 634S-B page, and I had no luck in the threads.  Now I know.  I love the texture of unsanforized denim.

Both the IH-634S-B and the IHXB01od utilise the 21oz indigo sanforised denim.  The IH-666Sod uses the unsanforised 18oz

adam, have you ever felt an OD denim (from IH)? the texture is really quite different than indigo, whether the jean was sanforized (634sb, BBod) or unsanforized (666od, sexiho7-bk) to begin with. you can basically think of the od process like super hot wash that coats the denim black… so the od process changes the feel of the denim quite a lot, to me it seems to tighten up the denim and also soften it. it really changes the jean and is a nice alternative to the indigo.

jaco, I have never felt the OD IH denim, nor have I seen anything else that has been overdyed as such.  Sounds incredible.  Much appreciation G and jaco!
