What do you guys think about the boots I just ordered from bakers?  I am still a little indecisive on the heel, I went with the block heel, but taper heel looks good also….... can not decide.  any input?

Sounds good TM, they should look pretty similar to mine apart from a different sole, and hooks and eyes.

On the heel issue, I prefer the standard tapered heel. I think it adds to the sleek look of the boot.

in that case I will like them.  After bakers receives my tracings and measurements they will call to confirm size.  I might change my heel to the tapered heel, it is growing on me.

were they the ones posted by ftorres?  What does BD stand for?  I know SD is semi dress and SJ is smoke jumper…..  I am still a boot noob.

Ok, this is what I'm going to go with, but Chrome Excel rather than calf, and brown edging rather than natural.

I love the look of the double stitch.

I must say I am impressed by the construction of the boots, the stitching qualities are top notch and I love the feel of the laces haha. Definitely worth the wait.

Absolutely beautiful Ronaldish, how do they feel on your feet straight out of the box? How long did they take to arrive?

Was rushing to go out, so I didn't try it on.. But the leather felt solid..

It took bakers about 6 weeks to make them. Shipping was about 1 week plus to me.
