Really? Didn't know that.
Need a machete to hack it in halves and scoop out the yellow/white and creamy stuff. Never tried it though. It is an "acquired" taste. -
you die?
really?
wowzer's i am about 1/3 alchol so i will never be able to even taste the fruit
i would die once it touched my lips.
& i do apologize for the massive derailment. Stan your jeans do look good on you (as they always do)
-
You don't die.
The fruit has a high sulphur content, which inhibits the activity of aldehyde dehydrogenase, causing a significant reduction in the body's ability to clear toxins. Basically, you feel as bad as durian smells. Well, maybe not quite as bad as durian smells. It's pretty damn foul.

the effect is quite similar to that of disulfiram (Antabuse) which is a daily prescription medicine (not very commonly) used to treat alcoholism. the drug doesn't really do anything to treat the disease but what it does do is make you feel really unpleasant (the disulfiram-ethanol reaction) if you drink alcohol, thus acting as a deterrent

On the hunt for that stinky sweet fruit. Should be easy to locate in certain parts of town. Have to love ny you can find everything you need and want and be invisible while doing it

It's you. At least normal IH fade much slower in my experience, 23 oz and 25 oz seem to fade quite quick. Samurai and Flat Head are some of the fastest and most contrasted fading brands (in general, depends on the denim though).
-
what? Most 25 oz pairs show fades after few days of wear…Example: nicols pair with only weekend wear. Georgeels pair after 6 weeks. And many more...
-
@ronaldlsh: 0500xx fades also rather fast, but not as fast as the 19oz denim and the 17oz VX denim (in my eyes).
I also have to agree with Max: the heavier denims I've seen so far fade quickly, regardless of the brand
