Latest information: jeans have arrived on the 29th, have not been delivered directly but deposited at a store around the corner, will have somebody check for them tomorrow, will fly over to Berlin tomorrow evening.

In the meantime: we have taken permanent ownership of an apartment here in Moscow. We will now try to nice it up…pictures and details to follow.

Finally, I managed to fly home into Berlin and this was waiting for me..

Yesterday…

Started the day with day-light pictures and a comparison between my hardly worn pair and the WT pair.

We are here in Berlin to prepare the move to Moscow - still unpacked from our last move from Guangzhou back home to Berlin…

I'm pretty happy with - the wife was less thrilled, initially. By now it has gotten better…

Got dressed and ready for Saturday morning breakfast and shopping.

went to Manufactum for some shopping, but most of all for a breakfast. Since it was late in the day it turned into an early lunch with soup and cake.

We absolutely have to arrange another meet-up while you have them, hope you will keep up with the frequent appearances here in Berlin, since I won't make it to Moscow anytime soon.

Went out for a walk around the corner.
This is the site (or what's left of it) of the first fully functional computer assembled by Konrad Zuse in 1941

The beer garden of a former brewery - I remember growing up with the brewery delivering beer in casks on horse carriages (proper horses!) and the air smelling like fresh bread in the morning. In the summer we had amateur road bike races on cobble stones and cross country races happening in the fall all around the brewery with a crate for the winner of each lap.
