Hey guys! I'm about to purchase some busters. I'm wondering whats the difference between the 18 oz RAW and the 21 oz?
I also am a true 32 waist, is it okay if I purchased a size 31?

The 21oz is sanforised denim, the 18oz is raw.  The raw should shrink to the same size as the 21's, but there is always a bit of plus and minus.  The raw will fade with more contrast than the 21.  Look at the sizing charts in the shop…..

Does anyone ever use the dryer on these? I use it for my Triple Works but they are sanforized and the shrinkage is not much.  Will they shrink up several sizes?

They will lose an inch in the waist (but stretch back out again with wear) and between 1 and 2 inches in the length with the recommended soak….

It is an impossible question to answer.  If I mucked out cow sheds I'd probably wash at least once a week, as I sit behind a computer, sometimes it may be as much as 6 month…..l

Thanks Beatle…I'll soak them and break them in for a while. If I feel they are stretching too much them I'll give them the dryer....
I sized down from 36 in the TW 14oz to 34. Looks like it should fit fine. I have size 36 634s and they are quite big after stretching out. The TW fit is da bomb!!

For washing and soaking etc, I think it is best to go with Beatle's sage advice of just wearing your jeans and doing what you feel is normal rather than comparing with what everyone else does.  If you want to wash them, wash them.  If you don't, don't.  It is as simple as that.

@thomasnunnally- yes i agree with you, i was just simply asking what everyone does… i wish they'd have a 18oz version of 301 but i love the details of the BB. like the hidden knife pocket for example.
