guys…are you serious, that's only 16-32 kilometres in a week.  and that's max 4,5km's in a day.  If that's divided even for all weekdays.

Am I missing something here or am I too serious in the morning?

i am glad this thread came up as it's the first thing i thought when i received the jeans.

[634S] the denim is woven in a very gentle loose fashion and the yarn is very lightly spun
this giving it this beautiful handle yet in a heavy robust feeling denim. So i wondered right from the start if
it was really going to be a HARD wearing jean.

i still dont know the answer as its only really been 2+ month for me and so far so good. I know whatever the out come wouldn't change the fact that this is THE best feeling jeans i've ever had.

I was surprised by the softness of IH, too, as I expected a stiff cardbord you couldn't walk in. But still, I feel that this makes the jeans more durable than normal jeans. And the overall construction is the best I've seen on jeans so far. At least, after 4 months of everyday wear, I don't have spotted one loose thread and only minimal abrasions on my zippo and wallet, which are places, that wear out pretty fast normally.

Thank you guys - this has been so far a very enlightening thread to read!!!
I know I don't qualify to comment because I don't wear IH ( not my fault) as a girl I've never since the age of 11 had a pair last more than 11 months. Its the left knee that goes fast but as I live a totally sedentary lifestyle I cannot explain this.
I would have thought 21oz denim would do it for most people, but reassuring to know that I'm not the only person who can't make jeans last.

Topic is probably long dead, just thought I would say that for about 2 years I lived with someone and all my clothes wore out faster than normal and it was a mystery to everybody. Turns out the washing machine was doing it, the very second I stopped using that machine and moved back home my clothes started lasting properly again.

Seriously, they are the best made jeans I have ever owned , just like my IH shirts etc. They are made like Thor's Hammer.

Um, what? That was a complete contradiction.

Hmm, interesting way of phrasing that thought. Anyhow, this thread is stupid. That is all. 🙂

I had some pretty fab fades on my Busters after exactly three months… Had to sell 'm as well though, as I overlooked the sizing chart and should've sized up (at least) 1...  😠

Anyhow... You can pretty much throw anything at IH jeans... That's always the feeling I've had... We'll see how the 25 oz. 666s'es hold up after 4-5 months of continous wear... My guess: BRILLIANTLY...  🙂

Are "wicked cool fadez" still the trend? I want a jean that will last forever, fit spot-on and fade as slow as possible.

Chris: I really couldn't care less about fades and all that... The reason I wear IH is because it is, imho, the best workgear out there... But to all haters I defiantly say: YES they DO fade and very nicely as well  😉

Erm, sorry, I thought my post in the sales thread explained.

The jeans are awesome. Just that, after a lot of experimentation and expense, I have come to the conclusion that super-heavy jeans are not for me, whether IH, Sammies etc, etc.

As for "super sick fades" ha ha, I can't wear jeans for work and rotate so often my jeans are almost all almost deadstock. Fades ? I wish.
