Going to be late I am afraid, everything had got delayed because of the problems we had making the other 25oz jeans…....

No sorry.  If Haraki gives me an update I'll publish, otherwise I will be as surprised as you when they arrive.  We had a long talk about this in the car driving down from Scotland yesterday.

1. He confirmed that me asking him the status every 10 minutes about everything that is up coming just distracts him from what he should be doing
2. Solution is (if me and Ayumi can make him do it) is that once a week he will send me a brief status report.  But you probably know as well as I do, creative people have a real problem with reporting and discipline in general.

Honestly hope that the dc4002 will be delayed till January or maybe even later.  I will need to recover a little after picking up the 25oz 634, a brown hombre and the 23oz 634 later this year.

2 washes, at 4 & 7 month. 3 wash when I´ll get the world tour busters in december.

Man i've been wearing these pretty much exclusively since i got them except when i rotate in a pair of the 701s ocassionally… and my DC4 are still very much dark. I just gave them a wash in the machine inside out and the only halfway major fade ive got going on is the wallet fade... light lap/calf crease fades but that's it.

just thinking, the denim used in DC4001 is the 21 oz signature denim right? but why is it fade slower than any other 21oz signature models (634S,301S).. again, CMIIW..

No reason why it should, they are exaclty the same denim….

Funny, I would have said exactly the opposite. My DC4001 bled blue at great speed leaving me with smurf hands all the times for about 6 weeks. With the 634s I hardly see any colour loss on shirts etc. I even started to wear white shirts tucked in the 634s because they do not bleed.
I guess it just depends on the production run and the way the indigo got into the jeans. Each pair or batch is different.
