OK, sorry for radio silence for the past few days. its 4 am and i just did a monster 14 hour drive home so i'm gonna go to sleep but i promise a killer update tomorrow!

All good. I blew it. I forgot to keep up with the current members and telling them to keep it a secret. Oh well, not a problem at all. Hopefully it will be displayed with the jeans in JP at the end of this all…

on that note, I am down another 5 lbs (175->142) from the dieting and 5 days a week exercising and will definitely not fit into this pair. I'll have to drop out of this tour. Sorry for any trouble!

ok….lets get this weekend update going. So this sunday was my 36th birthday, and we had to get the crew together for some skateboard carnage. We decided to head down to North Cakkalakka for our friends yearly skateboard blowout party, assembled the crew and it was on. please excuse the lack of actual skate photographs....iphones aren't the best for that and i was skating most of the time anyways. i'll post some actual skate photos after some of the other guys get theirs uploaded to their blog.
got packed up...
got the crew in the van….
got a quick bite for dinner…
and got the train a rollin'. we've been driving all night…its 4 am. you guys awake back there??
drove 12 hours overnight then stopped for about 3 hours of sleep and at 10 am we were up and ready to get some, but first we had to fuel up….
tempeh blt hit the spot…
first spot….
pretty tall order for 10:30 am and no sleep but we got some…
ok…on to the next spot. get movin!!!
ain't no fun fallin 12 feet!
ok….back in the van!!!

no road trip is complete without monster trucks…

after an overnight drive, no sleep, 9 hours of straight skateboarding and no food we were all pretty taxed so we met up with some old friends for some barbecution…
now that you've eaten, what are your feelings on ramps underneath houses with tiki bars built into them? I'm for them.

By about 3 am everyone was near dead, so we slept. sort of. next morning we were up at the crack ready to roll. another 3 hour sleep night….
gas station curb biscuit breakfast jammer....

next spot needed a little work but we got it done…

its out of our hands now. let the sun do the work.

and now its time for a RAGER…
this thing will put hair on your chest. you gotta wear your big boy pants. thankfully i had the WT's on….
at right around this point my phone died and i didnt get any pictures until the next day. i can tell you that i saw some 10 foot high airs in that thing. after that there was raging well into the wee hours. i think we skated until about 4 am.
after another 3 or 4 hours of sleep it was time to get up and get some coffee so we "borrowed" some bicycles and went in search…
then it was on!!
ride a pool or get in the jacuzzi? such a hard decision….
this thing saw alot of action. we rode until the sun went down and then rode some more. again little sleep was had. woke up sunday morning and it was time to start packing up shop!
can't forget the essentials…
made a quick pit stop…
then dropped by a friends skate shop to say whats up….
after a weekend of skateboarding i needed some new socks. at least for the drive back….
and then it was time to roll. dudes gotta work tomorrow morning!! 12 hours, LETS DO THIS!!! But not before we stop to look at ridiculousness….

i kind of want a new coffee mug but I can't find my name…

you know you're in the south when they have a scaled down model of the confederate ironclad ship the Merrimack. If you aren't a US history buff this means nothing to you but google the battle of the Monitor and the Merrimack for some interesting US naval history…..
GET IN THE VAN!!! 12 hours later we're back where we started from. get the hell out of the van…
I got to bed at about 5 am today. Woot Woot.
