It is the "public" studio of the Horitoshi Family. Very traditional and famous tattoo family…still doing tebori (hand poked) style work.
Let me know if you'd like any more information...

Do you know if tebori is taking longer than needle machines? And painwise???

Little bit longer, but nothing crazy.
As for pain, nothing worse than a machine would be.
Most people find it more rythmic and relaxing…

It makes me sad that none of the artists you speak of is within my reach. I am thinking of getting another piece, art nouveau style. A bit inspired by John Baizley, maybe. Just don't know where to put it and I want somebody that can do it. Maybe Lilli again?!

Also, has anybody experience with an "original" Maori tattoo?
