Finally picked one(raw version) up.  Tried it on quickly last night to get an initial feel.

    The good:
Bigger buttons are definitely the better choice
The pockets are a plus, they are there when you need them and quietly stand in the background when you don't. They don't billow out.
Fabric weight, colour and construction (tightly woven denim) are top notch
Feels almost bullet proof (still needs to catch up to the IHSH-08 SS Black Armour shirt!)

    The bad/not so bad:
Chest was a bit tight (not supa thight in Beats speak  :P) even though I got it in the same size as my other IH shirts.
Shoulder and forearm sit on right but it rides up and there was a fair amount of room in the biceps area (similar to blakey's feedback on this thread).
Sleeve lengths slightly too long in my opinion. Two buttons on the cuff might have worked better, but it may be too difficult due to the size of the buttons and/or the fabric. Not too big of a deal, I can either fold it up or let it all hang out….
The body of the shirt seems to be in a cut slimmer than other IH denim shirt, and it seems to hug the body more. Don't think I can fit another shirt underneath at the moment.

    Conclusion:
Need to rock it some more, sorry no pics  ::).  Due to the nature of the tightly woven denim and it is raw, I think the denim needs to loosen up a fair bit. The biceps and body should flow better after longer wear. Don't think it will ever touch warm/hot water as I don't want it to shrink.
Unlike my other IH shirts, I won't hesitate to keep all the buttons undone. Pretty versatile as a shirt (when all buttoned up) or an overshirt (with a tee underneath).

Does the IHD-01od taper much from the armpit to the body (like the IHSH-08sbg), or is it a straighter fit?  Haven't been able to find a pic of the IHD laying flat to be able to judge.

Thanks G, PM sent.  You're gonna keep me in suspense, huh?  😉  Looking forward to the pic, but I'd believe you if you care to offer a (written) opinion.

                    ^You're pretty awesome, G.

I don't know if other folks care about those particular measurements, but I'd love to see them become standard.  I like my shirts with a lot of taper.

This of course makes my decision even tougher…this, or the IHSH-08bg?  If you made an OD version of the 08 I would probably just give you all my money.

Thanks for the suggestion.  We may try and start doing this, but just on stuff  that comes in fron now…..

Extra measurements would be great. Tapering for us larger guys is sometimes scary.

If I'm an XXL in IHSH-07 and -35 and both are a little bit snug, will I be OK with an XXL for the od as well?

They are virtually the same size…..

So will be snug too.  If you wanting to wear this over another shirt, you want to consider XXXL…

Maybe a stupid question, but I never owned an od item: do I need to soak?

G., I'm glad I asked for sizing advice. I definitely would not have wanted this one to fit to tight.
Some teaser pics after 2 days of wear because this thread needs more pics…

I have high hopes for this shirt.
