i'm glad to hear you are excited about this jimmy, i was trying to figure out why should i care besides the fact that G was excited about it. so of course i look the guy up a little & begin to get the full picture. very proud of you stubborn folks, keep up the organic & natural growth. i recall when the forum was like 100 people.

i guess i am not ur usual IH customer as i enjoy a fine suit as much as i do a nice pair of jeans.
the two worlds [tailor wear and work wear] are the exact opposite but really have the exact same philosophy. Both stick to classic and timeless styling and appreciate fine old school craftsmanship.
up till now "suits" people some what look down on the rugged jean wears and the "madmondays"
think suit wears are too snobby and up themselves. Its not until the past couple of years where the two have started to cross over and i am all for it.
IH can really benefit from someone like Nick and i am keen to see what you guys come up with.

jimmy, i think jean wearers are also snobby & up on themselves, but your point is very well taken. i think anyone that brings a different perspective is an asset because it opens open a different world.

The new flagship store is not going to be a classis bespoke tailors. I have not seen seen the inside, but the concept is very 1950's Bel Air and aims to sell classic timeless stuff (not necessarily restricted to clothing), that are (in Nicks opinion) the best examples of their kind…..

makes sense why he would want Iron Heart.

Spencer Hart opening party last night was a ball. I recognised a few people and probably should have recognised a load more given the heaps of photographers camped outside the shop. I deliberately did not take photos of much, but I think the collection of books for sale gives you a good idea of what the shop is like.

is Iron Heart the only denim they are stocking at the moment?

G, we have 2 separate threads on Spencer Hart (News & B&S). Time to merge?

evisu had a shop around the corner from there where in house tailors could make you custom jeans. saville row is still renowned around the world as the makers of the finest suits, so i think its a natural place for ironheart products to be. the skill, craftmanship and quality of fine suits and fine denim share many of the same principles and if ironheart is being recognised as being at the apex by people in that frame of mind then that can only be a good thing, both for ironheart as a brand and the people who love it. as long as its respected then it should be encouraged
